Well Hello There Forum Members Reading This,
I just thought I'd stop on by the "Introduce Yourself" page and... introduce myself!

I am from the USA, living in Germany and am making music music music.
Classical musician first: Opera Singer
Then ventured into the world of Singer-Songwriting: Singer-Songwriter

And now I am doing both... with two identities! That is so awesome, let me tell you!

A little baroque here, some folk there, sprinkle in some jazz and voilà: Total Fulfillment!! This little thing is a happy musical camper.

Other than that, I love food (who doesn't?), nature (who doesn't?), being alive (who doesn't?... don't answer that one), and am generally happy.

And that's it in a nut shell.

I look forward to "meeting" you guys and gals here in cyberspace.

-Nyaz

BONUS: Here is my musician's theory----> Every instrumentalist should learn how to sing and every singer should learn an instrument.
...having been a singer first has given me a sensitivity and organicness on my instrument (guitar) that I would have never have been able to attain otherwise. Consequently, having learned an instrument, my singing has gotten much more sensitive and organic. It's like yin and yang... learning both sides of a story... completing a puzzle. If you can't sing, that's OK... it's just learning how to breathe. And if you've never played an instrument, that's OK... it's just learning how to flow.
