• Welcome to the Pipe Organ Forum! This is a part of the open community Magle International Music Forums focused on pipe organs (also known as "church organs"), organists, organ music and related topics.

This forum is intended to be a friendly place where technically advanced organists and beginners (or even non-organists) can feel comfortable having discussions and asking questions. We learn by reading and asking questions, and it is hoped that the beginners (or non-organists) will feel free to ask even the simplest questions, and that the more advanced organists will patiently answer these questions. On the other hand, we encourage complex, technical discussions of technique, music, organ-building, etc. The opinions and observations of a diverse group of people from around the world should prove to be interesting and stimulating to all of us.

As pipe organ discussions can sometimes become lively, it should be pointed out that this is an open forum. Statements made here are the opinion of the poster, and not necessarily that of the forum itself, its administrator, or its moderators.

In order to post a new topic - or reply to existing ones - you may join and become a member by clicking on Register New User. It's completely free and only requires a working email address (in order to confirm your registration - it will never be given away!). We strive to make this a friendly and informative forum for anyone interested in pipe organs and organ music.

Still missing my convertible Porsche. What makes it worse is I sold it to my neighbour and see it nearly every day.

The Targas were very nice, but number three gets my vote. There is nothing like a proper convertible. With the draft screen fitted it hardly creates a draft at all, even at speed.

No Colin, not the downdraft wing. Even my wifes Mazda MX5 has a draft screen which you pull up when the hood is down. On Porsche they are usually a glass detachable screen.

Hi Colin thanks for asking......
it's a madness.....
Our Prime minister says for public vote and the very next day he draws back. Now There's discussion in the Parliament about confidence in governament. Tomorrow night our representatives (300) are gonna vote. If government gets less than 151 we're goin' on to national elections in december.

People are starving here...... Athens is not as used to be..... sadness everywhere and those 300 bustards have everything a man wishes for a good time and the upper society of course .
Secrets and lies....

Banks are winnin' more money and they say they got big problems.... that's a contradiction. If this' gonna hapen for a long time we'll end up all simple people (the majority) with no money at all, so as many taxes as the international community orders they 're gonna take nothing because there isn't.

But the plan is bigger : some people want to conquer/buy Greece and its beauties veeery cheap.... so they organized this crisis very well and now are waiting to get what they really want.
Ok so far, but they forget something basic : this is Greece (Sparta) ! Hellenic people are unpredictable and solid hard in situations like this..... so......... beware....

It's not just Greece eh, The gap between the rich and the poor gets wider all of the time e.g look at the Qantas debacle a problem has existed for god knows how long and the CEO Alan Joyce (an Irish import - they are in a mess as well) seems unable too sort it so he grounds the Airline, He gets A$5,000,000/year for that?? is anyone worth millions per year? the protesters all over the world are sending a message but will it be heard?
