Oh I love Kippers but they are imported and cost an Arm and half a Leg

Horrible smelly bony things, I used to find something to do in the garden or other distant spot if kippers were being cooked and comsumed;

often described as a two faced beggar with no guts

I've had nothing yet except a hand full of m&ms with peanuts. After a scare
with meat after getting food poisoning I gave it up. I only eat nuts and
mushrooms in place of meat. I'm thinking about fixing some breakfast.
My menu is limited now.

Judy! There's lots of nice ways to get around using meat in your cooking.
I like slices of broccoli stem or water chestnuts as a meat substitute, baby clams, ingredients like that.

I had a nice piece of fish with fries, for $1, with malt vinegar, for lunch,
and paid $1.50 for three dessert squares, yummy.
That went with my $1.27, two litre bottle of diet Faygo, a nice diet Pepsi sustitute.
Yes, I know, it's not nice watching an old man swig from a two liter bottle,
and probably my first attack of middle-aged-anxiety will involve collapsing a lung while fizzing a big one.

I had a two taco meal for $1, one hard shell, one soft, with a two litre bottle of diet Pepsi I brought in.
There was a bowl of chopped lettuce, one of onions, chopped tomatoes, salsa and sour cream as condiments.
Then I doubled up on another taco order.
There were two servings of fresh fruit salad left over from yesterday, strawberries, grapes, and cantelope,
that I got for 50 cents, a big bowl, so I bought 2 bananas for 50 cents and sliced them up and mixed them in.
The apple cake slices looked good, so I bought two for 50 cents and put raspberry jam on them. Real yummy.

This, after I brought four big pollock filets and bread to make my own meal. That's supper now.
Sorry for the fizz. I'm an unashamed popaholic. If you wanna know what diet Pepsi does to the human body, ask me.

I started off with a can of regular Coke and four big, home-made chocolate chip cookies.
There was an executive planning meeting where I am today, and lunch was take-out from a pizzeria.
I had five slices of vegetarian and four more cookies, with two more pops.
When the two students were being celebrated, ending their placements today, I had a nice piece of cake.
That was my breakfast.

Judy! Why am I imagining you in a sweaty, pale cotton dress, leaning over a southern swamp, pulling in wild rice? Nice!

Hopefully, tomorrow morning, watching the sun come up as I bike-hike along the Lake Erie shore,
I'll be drinking pure lake water and eating fresh blossoms and seeds for breakfast,
with some strawberry sprinkle Pop Tarts and Bits and Bites for a snack.
