Born, raised, and lived in Baltimore, Maryland for 49 years.
Moved to and lived in Annapolis, Maryland for 5 years.
Moved to West Brookfield, Massachusetts in July, 2006 so my wife could be closer to her parents. I'm happy for the change of venue.

I admit that was a rather dry reply to the question, rojo. But, then, only you, among all forumists here, would know where I was born and raised if I identify the place name. It's Sainte-Anne-de Sorel, on the south shore of the St. Lawrence River, also known in popular culture as "Le pays du survenant". Roughly 80 km. east of downtown Montreal.

Interesting thread. I am a Scot from Glasgow travelled the planet and ended up a couple of miles from my birthplace, it has taken a long time for me to realise there is no place like home.......The only other Scot I noticed lives in England...So hey!

Well...I live in Montreal...I was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, my father was British (from Leeds) my mother from Paris (French).

I speak 3 languages pretty well: Spanish, English and French. I "try-to-speak" 3 other languages: Portuguese, Italian and Russian. I can read in those 6 languages...sometimes with some difficulties.

Best wishes for Christmas and Hannuka

Who is from where?

I born in Hungary and lived there for 28 years. Next was Austria in a refugee camp 4 months and now Canada. More than 30 years, Calgary, Vancouver Island, and BC. Penticton. I miss the little village or small city pipe organs in Canada. In Hungary all the village churches has pipe organs mostly Rieger organs some Angster (Hungarian) organs. 2 manual around 20 registers, but nice little organs. Here in Canada pipe organs are only in bigger places. Technology is a blessing with jOrgan, Hauptwerk etc. Cheers: Les Poloskey

I was born in the smallest state in the USA~Rhode Island where I lived for 18 years. Joined the Navy and lived where ever I was told for 3 years returning to RI for 9 years. Then my young family and I moved to Maine where we have lived for the past 24 years.Acadia National Park is like our back yard (well kind of...)Here's a link to some pictures of Acadia~We love it here though we felt right at home in Lincolnshire (East Midlands) and might be easily persuaded to spend some (lengthy) period of time there!!http://www.bing.com/images/search?q...os&qpvt=Acadia+National+Park+Photos&FORM=IGRE
