MACHINARY consists of Bruce Levick (drums and percussions), Al Kerr (bass and vocals) and Doug Levick (guitar, keyboards, vox). This trio has been at work over two years composing and recording the original pieces for their debut EP. Structurally, the music falls in neo progressive mould with some Rush and Pink Floyd influences. There’re starts and stops, recurring themes and changes in time and tempo, a room to maneuver about. The material can remind of British groups like GLD and Credo. But please, don’t get the wrong impression. Certainly, Machinary have plenty of starter tools to build something really substantial - in not too distant future time.
