None that are more advanced than those operating in the USA Seriously, the gulags of yore you can find in North Korea. You'll hardly find a Russian who wants to work in such deplorable conditions. Gulags were liquidated in 1960. Ex-prisoners supervised the running of the Gulags.

It wouldn't surprise me if there were labor camp prisons for those who thought politically different and for psychopaths in 1983. But those are none different from the prisons in America that have the cons in chain-gangs, cutting grass, picking up trash and other menial labor. I also think of Sheriff Joe Arpaio and the low-cost facility that he runs in Arizona where the cons wear pink panties:lol:

And some more news about Vladimir Putin from Sweden: The Swedish media are screaming about media outlets being shut down because those outlets are critical of Putin. Well, to set the record straight, when those media outlets are engaged in inciting violence for to cause the mortality of the sitting president, well, then all bets are off. Again I am ashamed of my swedish countrymen who think they are the conscience of the world. Putin represents the majority voice of Russians who are sick and tired of Revolution - Russians want Evolution towards a better future - Not more of the past Revolution. And I fully support the work of the President of the Russian Federation. sweden had better sweep its front porch clean and empty those cemeteries-full of skeletons out of the closet and keep their mouth shut and not talk about a Russia that they know absolutely nothing about.
