Need Advice

I'm just a beginner guitarist. Now I use acoustic guitar. But want to purchase electric guitar. So I need some advice that which electric guitar is perfect for a normal price!!

Are you looking for an electric guitar with the same length and width of neck like your acoustic?
Where are you? That would give me a better idea of what's available for you.
I set up my guitar and amp to sound acoustic or mellow jazzy as my primary tones.
Are you interested in using effects to make noise?
And is there a specific guitarist you're interested in sounding like?
