Bath or shower?

(re baths) I have to say it's always in the back of my mind that I'm washing my face in the same water my bum has been in..

Well if that appeals to you try standing on your head in the shower!

Yes, but if God had intended us to have showers, he'd have given us armpits that faced upwards!

Personally I prefer a bath, nice long soak.

How uproarious! "washing my face in the same water my bum has been in". Of course, hot and soapy water does kill the germs - However, I most preferably shower because it saves me time and money.

Due to my height (6' 4") I tend not to fit well in the bathtub ... so I do showers in lukewarm water. In the summertime, the underground waterlines are sufficiently warmed enough that I do not need to use the hot water at all.

I'm not one to linger ... get in, wash, rinse, and get out.

As a kid I enjoyed tub baths ... later in life at one rented house, there was a bear claw tub and no shower ... at least it was large enough.

The Japanese method of washing and then getting into a bath to relax is probably the cleanest method. I tend to shower as bathing induces relaxation. Something I don' believe in. Showering is also quicker, cheaper and theoretically more hygienic. The down side is ducks are not so much fun in a shower.

Not wishing to be part of this disgusting exchange of filth I will stick to my usual emery tape 130 grit.

I shower, I can get in a bath but getting out is difficult with my Rhumatoid Arthritis. I always feel fresher with a shower too.
