The concert will be performed by The Mann Center orchestra and chorus, conducted by Grammy Award-winning artist Arnie Roth.

Says Jason Michael Paul, producer of PLAY!: "As one of America's greatest cities I am thrilled to be able to bring PLAY! to the city of brotherly love! It is the goal of PLAY! to popularize video game music. I am hopeful that the second largest city on the east coast will reciprocate the excitement that has been received all over the world for such a brand new concept."

Tickets will go on sale shortly and can be purchased through The Mann Center box office.

I would go just to listen to Morrowind, what a score that was. Pity I don't even live in the same country.

Too bad it's far out of my driving range.. I would love to hear the Battlefield 1942 themesong.. What a classic! Some of the old Sonic music would be great too, however if I honestly don't recall any of the songs. I would love to go just for old times sake, however; just getting there would be a $90 plane ticket.

I cannot even begin to imagine what the Sonic score would sound like in full symphonic glory ?

I didnt think it would be suited to that style. But I suppose any song can in some way be arranged to suit an orchestra.

I wish something like this would come to the UK. But I guess video games arent as important here and still seen as a niche market.
