    Anathema

This is a great band and will be supporting HIM during their UK tour in April.

Street Team members will be at every venue handing out both bands stickers and special Anathema patches, only a lucky few will be hand picked by the HIM reapers to recieve a free patch.

See them on tour supporting HIM:

    April

    Tue 18 - Manchester Apollo
    Wed 19 - Manchester Apollo
    Thu 20 - Birmingham Academy
    Fri 21 - Birmingham Academy
    Sun 23 - Glasgow Academy
    Mon 24 - Newcastle Academy
    Tue 25 - Brixton Academy
    Thu 27 - Dublin Ambassador
    Fri 28 - Dublin Ambassador

Check them out and, those that are members, sign up to their myspace profile - you won't regret it!!

Anathema are great, a much better band than the terrible HIM, if I were in the UK I'd go just to see them!

Wow, no posts in this thread since 2006? Anathema have become one of my favourite bands, though from what I understand their last few albums are very different from what they did earlier.

We're Here Because We're Here has some sublime music on it, as does Weather Systems. So far I am less impressed with their latest release, Distant Satellites, though it's getting a fair bit of love on other music fora.

Anathema have a new album on the way, titled The Optimist or something like that. I hope it's better than Distant Satellites which I was less than impressed with.

They played here in Perth late 2015, I saw them at a pub venue about 15 minutes' walk from where I live. excellent show.
