Welcome aboard axlgoose - Thanx for the link...Be careful how you use your vocal instrument...You can "fry it" if you don't exercise care. It sounds like you're trying to sing from your "voicebox" alone. Think of your whole torso as the musical instrument/air pump and think also about your vocal chords as the neck with strings on a string instrument. If you force the sound from the neck its gonna hurt very shortly.
