I am looking for an electric violin and was wondering if anyone could recommend any that are good quality, but not too expensive as I am on a budget.

perhaps you should just add an amplifier microphone and attach to your violin.. I am sure cheaper than am electrified/ unit. A thought.

Good idea from Bill, but if you want a violin that can be played silently, through headphones, you will need a purpose made one. I picked one up for my daughter at a local store for less than £100.00. Seems to work satisfactorily. Might be worth a look on e-bay or Amazon if you do not have any local storesteddy

I'd just like to say that a modern, very scientific study of traditional virtuoso violins and carbon fiber models,
showed carbon fiber was appreciated more, and any superbly made modern violin, are interchangeable with Stradivari or Amati.
You might have your ears up high, hearing the beautiful sounds, but your budget doesn't have to bring you down.

My favorite online inventor of electronic classical variations is Ned Steinberger, guessing www.steinberger.com.

If budget matters then you can take your likable instrument on rent too. In the market there are couple of vendors provides musical instruments on rent service which is with some terms and conditions. On this basis I'd recently taken string family instrument on rent for my daughter in her school drama performance. I will suggest you just browse [promo URL removed] who provide band and orchestra musical instruments since several years. Its your choice!
