my bass head turns on but my instrument cable isnt geetting a surge anyone think they know why?
i need help with the surge in my cable :./ anyone?

A bit more information here, please ...
What are you using for an amplifier, and what kind of "surge" are you trying to get? Normally, in electronic terminology, a "surge" is a voltage spike.
Is it perhaps that the output from your Bass isn't being transmitted back to the amplifier? That could mean several things:

Is it perhaps that the output from your Bass isn't being transmitted back to the amplifier? That could mean several things:
- defective cable or detached wire in the cable plug ends
- kinks in the cable ... creates breaks in the line
- the Bass power supply isn't providing enough voltage
- check the fuse(s) on the amp
What kind of Bass are you using?
