Czesc ('hey' in polish) to all the Chopin fans! Just wanted to put up a note to all the Chopin fans to ask what you think about his music.
To me personally, his music is some-what animated. Once I have a moment to myself I sit down, close my eyes and not only listen to his music, but feel it. And if you listen close enough... you can swear your with him there, watching his fingers glide.

Hmmm! Just give us a hollar on what are your favourite pieces, and what you love about them.

I really love Prelude in B flat minor Op. 28 - listen to this one, doesn't it sound like someone is lost in New Yorks busy city? But my most adored is Scherzos in B flat minor Op. 31 and Fantaise-Impromptu in C sharp minor Op. 66.

Be glad to hear from you.

Hi Basia.

Chopin is truely amazing, a composer I look up to, Fantaisie Impromptu was one of his first impromptu's and he said it was immature. He wanted it to be burned when he died, as he didn't perfect it, which is hard to believe, but when composing, we all know that we don't get down everything that we really want to exactly the way we want.

Cheers:).
Gareth.

There used to be an internet radio station that broadcasted all the works of Chopin day in and day out. If my memory serves me, it was based in Poland.
I don't seem to find it

Hmm, there is somthing about Chopn's works that I find illogical... maybe it's the odd and unpredictable doublings or the abrupt endings to a lot of his works... I just find most of his music unsatisfying, but I know that's just me... I like some of his later works very much, such as the Nocturnes, Op. 62 in B major and E major, they are both beautifully composed... Also, the Berceuse and the Barcarole are great works. Maybe I just have a problem with music that is fast and loud... difficult to explain...
