Where did Franz or Algernon ever suggest that "no classical music of worth was created after the nineteenth century"? On the contrary, Franz names Stravinsky and Shostakovich as outstanding composers of the chaotic age (1900-present). What exactly are you in disagreement about?

I know also about one female composer.She is composer and harpist - Anna-Maria Ravnopolska-Dean.She is incredible.I enjoyed her performing talent a few years ago, when I had a terible headache and only her sound cured me.In 2003 I was in Bloomington at Carpcon and I heard her first composition-Improvisation.Here is a list with her compositions: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anna-Maria_Ravnopolska-Dean

Australia's had a few fine lady composers. One current one who is very popular and very gifted is Elena Kats-Chernin who was born in 1957 in the Uzbekistan capital of Tashkent, but moved to Sydney from the Soviet Union a while ago.

Hmmm - Jeanne Demessieux came first to mind...

Demessieux is a fine composer indeed.:up: There is an amazing depth in her Sept Méditations sur le Saint-Esprit op.6 (for organ).

Among the female 20th century organists, I'd then also mention Rolande Falcinelli.
