Good idea. We have our fair share of jazz stalwarts who could stand alongside anybody.
Here is UK Trombonist Roy Williams with US tenor Spike Robinson, who had a Stan Getz influenced sound.
Memories again come flooding back. Spike was resident for quite a spell in the Uk, in clubs and on concert gigs.
I spent a few swinging nights listening to him in the Pizza Express Jazz Club in London.
Our very own Roy Williams as well, he was and still is highly respected and highly ranked trombonist.
