Happy New Years!

As the title says, Happy New Years everyone! May 2013 be filled with wishes of success, good signs of friendship, and most importantly: lots and lots of music! Does anyone have any New Years traditions they'd like to share with us? I'll share one. In my family when we get together for New Years (as I have a very musical family) we always pick a name out of a hat for someone to ring in the New Years musically. It's said that whoever is picked will have 12 months of success. Just an old tradition.

Happy New Year to you to, MT. And to everyone here at MIMF. I'm afraid I don't have any traditions to share other than drinking champagne on midnight (and long after midnight, too :alc. No, wait. Actually, there is one thing. We usually have supper together, where we eat all the leftovers from Christmas Day - delicious roast meats and some other regional treats. That's all I can think of right now.

I extend the my Best wishes for 2013.. Me and the dogs wil ushier in the New Year..them hiding from all the gunfire and fireworks.. Alot of these here Southern Folks bring her in with lots of fanfare around here..LOL

Yes! Happy New Year! I only ever missed two New Year's with my family,
and my tradition has become, now that I'm the only one left,
spending New Year's, and Christmas, alone.
This is the first time I didn't even know when it was midnight.
I found a loonie in front of TD Bank, a good sign for the new year.
