Hello everyone!

If there's one thing that got me gigs, and some, uh, return engagements,
it was singing during travel with other musicians, helping to pass the time away.
After a while I'd get asked to do a Billie Holiday or Robert Plant version of a song,
or sing Judy Garland's "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" raggae or country style.

A more meditative technique involves lying there with the one you love, feeling all your love.
Anything you can sing there, quietly and peacefully, is like a thermometer for your soul.
At times like this, Michael is always rowing that boat ashore.

I'm typing this as another reason for developing your own musicianship, and voice.
Times like these might not happen for everyone, but if they can, you should be ready.
And as Jimi Hendrix sang: "Where were you when there was a hot dog seller",
yeah, where were you, when there was a hot dog seller?"
Every moment has its choices.
