Last night dreamt about kissing a girl I knew a long long time ago. How sad is that? Mind you she was a smashing kisser.

Was that Dawn from Margate?

Nah, that was Chloe from Kensington Gardens...

I was musing the other day about towns in England whose names end in 'pool, as in Liverpool, Blackpool....And then some wiseass on the radio spoke of Cesspool...

Try Dorset, Piddletrenthide, translation from domesday book language being "30 hides of land on the river Piddle", the Victorians tried to rename it river Puddle, so we now have Puddle town, Turners Puddle, Bryants Puddle and Affpuddle, the locals still stick to the original names though. Then you also have the Cerne Abbas giant - makes a change from White Horses cut in chalk hillsides

I am surprised no one has lodged a successful complaint about the giant. I know it is still popular with some couples who are having trouble with fertility but I would have thought some nutter would complain.

Oh they do, regularly, various attempts to cover or otherwise obliterate, doesn't get them anywhere though except court in extreme cases.

Our ancestors and their ancestors must have been more liberated than we are to day this appears regularly throughout history

I have just watched some old Benny Hill shows on Sky, so funny, all those sexual innuendos and beautiful girls in the most skimpy of clothes and no one complained? can you imagine that to day, the Fem Army would have him crucified so I say "good on yer Benny" lets have fun and to hell with the PC brigade

All the women who worked with him seemed to love him. They realised that it was just schoolboy humour, no nastiness intended. I really must obtain his biog.,

My first wife (AKA the crow cos of the way she squawked, also sometimes known as the dragon) worked with his sister and met him a couple of times, she was not impressed, however knowing her that does not surprise me.
