Easy. Deficit spending in peacetime. Theft and impovershment of future generations. Graceless, immoral and unforgivable.

Most of the Western World does it... but those who do it the most are the most villainous kleptocrats of them all...

We have just had the first air show at Manston Airport for twenty years. But the silly buggers routed all the traffic through our village instead of up the new dual carriageway. The result was almost total gridlock and it is estimated that approximately half the cars heading there eventually turned back. The end result was approximately only 16,000 attendance instead of the expected 30,000.
The words "pissup" and "brewery" spring to mind. At this rate it will be another twenty years before we see another air show here.

Come to the Bournemouth one in August every year, lasts 4 days, between 1 and 1.5 million attendance, takes place along the sea front. over a mile of beach and cliff top to view from, quite a lot view from boats offshore. And it's FREE.
    Cheers MIKE.

Never had these problems before, even when there were only locals roads before the bypass was built. Local radio this morning was all horror stories about people getting stuck in traffic jams for four to five hours. There is access straight from the new bypass directly into the airport and anyone local knows that there is access from five different directions. I think the idiots who organised it really messed up. We saw the Spitfire from our garden and a wonderful view of the Vulcan. Weather was bad so no Red Arrows.

I get a daily display of low flying aereo plains dropping fertiliser all over the place on the road in the river and some actually falls on the intended target
