Dear Tony Abbott. Please come back to England and stand for election. Either that or I will have to move to Australia.

I would consider living anywhere the politicians had guts, instead of pandering to minorities. France is doing a reasonable job at the moment and Italy is showing some guts as well.

When addressing government actions it’s important to understand that governments are merely a collection of agents that work exclusively for higher doctorial powers, namely the ruling class who operate in the shadows. The purpose of government and politicians is to provide the illusion of recourse and freedom to the slave/peasant class who are in reality human livestock and the property of the ruling class. Some slaves have more privileges (more stuff with less hardship) but nevertheless they are still slaves. Thus kings, queens and emperors have always ruled the world and the sole purpose of this sham called “democracy” is to pacify the slave masses and keep them in ignorance. The gauge by which the ruling class uses to periodically measure the extent of this ignorance and thus the success of their agents is the turnout at the ballot box.

All men are equal but some are more equal than others.

Some good points there RM, although I confess to being a Royalist.

Colin, being a car driver is a bit like being a husband. Its always your fault.

Colin, that reminds me of a chap in the RAF who used to ride a motorbike a bit fast, whilst indulging in this pastime over a very hump backed canal bridge on a narrow country road where he would try and improve the distance he was able to remain airborne he was somewhat disturbed to see a large number of cyclists in his path, luckily they had sufficient warning of his approach to peel off into the hedges on either side, he thought that was a great hoot.

A few weeks later his fiancé dumped him, so, with the money from the returned engagement ring he bought a Vincent 1,000cc, within a few more weeks he lost an argument with a lamp post; one of the never learn types, both parents and his brother had been killed on motorbikes; being the only one of the family left, his sister finally got the message & sold her bike.

The goverment has recently realised (!!!) that we may be 500,000 places short in our primary schools in the near future, mainly due to immigration. Thanks again Mr Blair.

There is a big discussion going on at the moment as to whether Muslin women should be allowed to cover their faces in courts of law, colleges and schools. If so is it alright for anyone to wear a full face balaclava or cover their face with a scarf? I would not want to deal with anyone who had their face covered and the thought of being treated in hospital by someone like that concerns me. We are used to being able to identify people in this country and associate covering the face with violent intent. A lot of Muslims state that there is no religious reason for it and a headscarf is sufficient.
Anyone have any thoughts on it?

There is a big bang coming in our government, and it will start tomorrow (Monday). Some Members of Parliament want an early referendum on whether to stay in the EU, or leave it. The Torys promised a free vote if they won the last election, and then backtracked. They have now promised a vote after the next election. Most of the population would like to have a vote on the subject and I am sure, most would vote to leave the EU. Cameron as PM seems to want to renegotiate our term. Almost an impossibility. The other countries would not allow it, especially as we pay more into the EU pot than any other country apart from Germany. We are about to open our country to potentially another 29,000,000 immigrants who will have the same rights here as anyone born here. I am not surprised the majority of the population here want a referendum, and [preferably tomorrow.

Teddy sounds like you had better start learning mandarin and reading the little red book

Eddie, you are tickling my funnybone again:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

Big Bang in Gov't, eh Teddles? I'd Love to see the Big Bang affect "Baghdad on the Potomac" aka Washington D.C. - Obamanable Hussein has to understand that he is responsible for the mess that he's made or else he will be impeached...

The States wants NZ and other Pacific countries to enter into a trade agreement and our Government is very keen but I am so suspicious that the country to gain the most will not be poor little NZ.

You're darn right that NZ will not benefit from an agreement with the States...

Our Prime Minister has vetoed the idea of a referendum on the EU. He says it will not happen before 2017. BUT the majority of the public want one sooner. Roll on November the 5th. Anyone got a light?
