Cheers MIKE.
How many roads must a man walk down ... ... before he admits he's lost?
Those are very evocative photos, he captured things very well.
He used to work a lot for Picture Post (probably before your time when that folded!) He used a second hand Leica.
Cheers MIKE.

I thoroughly love to rummage through B/W photographs ... they are often much sharper and clearer than their colour counterparts.
Relished the time I spent working in a museum where we had B/W photos of the mining days and days of the railroad.

That first picture must be one of the most famous in the country Mike. I read an article last year by one of the girls in the photo. Some interesting insights into her day.

I think my paternal grandfather must have been an illegal alien then, he worked in a Bradford clothing mill.
