Dear Corno (Thomas):tiphat: I sincerely hope that our glorious leader is not feeling under the weather and also that all our sometimes trivial questions have not made him go and hide. If Frederik is feeling poorly :bawl:I wish him a speedy recovery and look forward to his return to full duties.

Thanks Thomas, for taking care of things.

Dear Sparky, I very much appreciate your concern, thank you. I had a little trip to the hospital Sunday after suffering a slight indispostition, but am feeling much better now - nothing to worry about. I will be around, but probably a little less active, for the next week or two. Luckily I completed the transition to the new software last week :)

Hey, I really hope it's nothing serious. Hospitals are terrible places for active musicians - the long waits, and all those sick people... and the lack of privacy and room to collect your thoughts. Hospitals require great stamina to endure...

My best wishes for your speedy recovery!

Thomas: MIMF Senior Regulator: As a long-time member years ago,
and someone who exchanges comments on You Tube with Frederik Magle,
I felt I was being set upon by two new members, getting negative about me.
One day I realized my comments were only seen when I logged in,
and threads didn't add up the count, everything staying the same.
I received taunting email at my home address from one of those members.
That was Ella Beck and alcaponedudu.
I asked Krummhorn about this, nothing, so it was easy to stop visiting here.
I asked Krummhorn again about three months ago to no reply.
When I was publishing here I wasn't working on my own music website,
about a band and my inventive electric guitar, now un-activated.
Can you return me to my default status?
I'm in a new city, getting new equipment and writing new songs.
It would be very, very nice to come back to the only music forum I logged in to.
Here's a photo of a solid-body guitar I built to use outside with a portable amp.
I made all the plastic parts you see, and the maple leaf input holder you don't.
My instrument is far beyond being a solid-body, inventive and endorsed,
but it was nice to do a paint job on a guitar, always being natural wood.
I better stop typing. Boy, this website functions as wonder-full as ever.
Thank you for any efforts you may make on my behalf.

as always, John Watt

John Watt,

Good to see you back here again. I apologize for dropping the ball, but the transition from vBulletin to XenForo has been an uphill learning curve for me and the rest of the staff.

Can you enlighten me as to what you mean by "default status"? I show you as an active member joining in 2008 with over 3,000 posts.

Krummhorn! A greeting from you is as important as your musical experience and your life as a man.
I remember.
And you asked. I'm sure you know what being default is on a computer, far more than me.
When I said default status that was returning me to being as fully functional as I used to be.
I thought an admin censored me, only seeing my posts when I was logged in,
and my post count wasn't rising, and the numbers of views on my comments was inert.
I couldn't use some threads, saying I didn't have member privileges, as recent as yesterday.
Today I can.
But I'm just going on about myself and repeating some of the previous post.
I have something new.
At the bottom of a page where Area 51 there is, oh, import something?
It doesn't have any comments or views because it's not working, clicking it a few times.
Oh no... not that I have anything to import that's important... oh... oh... stop... stop... Krummhorn stop.
