 Welcome to the forum, Hans

Totally agree about film music. Was once on the sound stage for a movie (The Runner Stumbles) when the music was being recorded - a very involved process for sure, but the end result is always great.

My first thought is to get into saying
I'm not a lead guitarist-vocalist or singer-songwriter any more,
I'm a soundtrack player playing the soundtrack of our lives.

But HansZimmerIsaBro also mentions being from Kansas,
so what kind of movie and soundtrack can I think of?
That late 60's movie with Gene Hackman, out in Kansas cornfields, if I remember.
It starts with a Chicago mobster killing a local farm worker,
draping his body over a cow as they move down the line,
being turned into sausages that get delivered to his Chicago boss.
There's also a big combine chase scene through a cornfield.

It's not easy being a soundtrack player.
You have to embrace the dark side to have convincing demonics.
