Stephen Fry is an expert word smith but you can take it too far, a language must evolve or die I can sympathise with his horror over what is being done to the English language the worst examples being those Radio and TV presenters that corrupt and make English just about unintelligible to those of the preceding generation............I could go on but that is my comment Mike

Pleasure to listen to him. Being a fan of Lynne Truss gives me some grounding for this type of pronouncement. I also admired Ronnie Barker for his way with words, albeit on a different track.
