For a while there I thought Kiwis was referring to the birds of that name which made it seem even more bizarre, then I noticed the capital K.

Colin, try looking at the way the EU wasts money on stupid schemes and you will be glad you live in NZ. Some of it makes you want to buy a gun.
Taxpayers’ money is already being wasted in the EU; in fact the European Court of Auditors has refused to sign off on the EU accounts for eighteen years in a row. At a time when many government departments have made real-terms cuts of more than 30% since 2010-11, it is insulting for the EU to be demanding even more from British taxpayers.

We currently pay £53 million a day into their coffers as our gross contribution. Professor Tim Congdon has estimated our overall cost tallies to £150 billion a year, that is the cost of regulation and associated costs our EU membership brings.

I am now going to curl up in a corner.

Please don't curl up for too long, Teddy; at least have some good jazz on while you're curling. :trp:

Don't worry Steve. There will always be music around.
Colin. We can only hope. We have the elections next year for the EU representatives, and if the UKIP party get enough votes, which I think they will, we might have a chance. The majority of the population want us to pull out, but the political parties will not allow a vote on this untill at least 2017. Also if UKIP win enough seats it will encourage more people to vote when they see what can be done when a few more people bother to attend the polls.
