interesting composition.. From the opening passages I would label this a Postlude or Toccata.. it resembles a prelude at approx. 1.0.. To me is a conflicting Theme situation that will need developed to ease the transition between the two. Should be a good piece when finish . keep us posted. We have a number of accomplish composer here that may be able guide you more so.

That's some interesting thoughts, especially that it's not really a prelude, because I merely used that term as synonymously with "intro", because I just compose from tabula rasa with no greater knowledge of organ pieces and/or their structure. I agree that it could be more "fluent" in its structure, and maybe ripe for being called something else than a prelude. Thanks for your input, Bill, much appreciated.

And now I composed another one, and I went out on a limp and called it "Fantasia for Fantasia".. Not knowing the proper structure for a fantasia.. Just composing along.. I figured that the term fantasia gave me a wide margin for what to do.. The initial notes are heavily inspired by prelude in C major, Bach..

Should soundcloud be flakey by the way, then they can both be heard here..
