THanks for posting.left comment on youtube. Keep up the good work. A few members are proficient at guitar and I am sure they will leave you a more constuctive comment.

sssguillek! As a Uruguayan musician, you must have conquistador blood,
trying for world musical domination all by yourself.
Soundcloud doesn't work for me. Your first youtube video.
You must know your bass playing sounds weak, and sometimes non-existent.
Your headspace and the overall production is very listenable,
and my first thought was you should be using a similar bass line as this song.

The keyboard player for the Doors used a two octave keyboard,
sitting on top of his organ and piano, playing bass with his left hand.
This song was said to be about a serial killer outside of L.A., yeah, spooky at the time.
But when the Doors were on tour Jim Morrison and his wife liked to rent a car,
and then cause a car accident, what created sexual excitement for them.

About half-way through, when you started single note shredding,
I was thinking this kind of bass style would be nice to work around.

If you are loose enough with your co-ordination,
able to play and look up into the camera with soulful eyes,
you should be getting into singing more than bass and keys.
If you think you can't sing or don't sound good,
that just means you're starting late.

If I can take advantage of this global connection with a Uruguayan, about the Mayan,
as the good person of Scottish descent that I am,
are there any remains of a Mayan temple in your area,
the kind they built after tracing the travels of a man who visited them first,
built where this man performed a miracle in the past,
"The Great Educator, The Great Creator" "The Great Healer",
as his Mayan titles translate.
Just asking.

sssguillek! I'm not too sleepy, so I thought I'd answer your video,
just like old country used to have a female answer song to a male singer, or the other way.

I did the exact opposite of you, on purpose.
I used an inexpensive Art & Lutherie acoustic, another Quebec company owned by Godin.
I used the electric guitar strings I use, not wanting to lose my electric feel.
The bass strings were on the bottom, the highs on top.
Instead of a bathroom backdrop, I used artwork I made.
I tried to sing along with my playing.
You are young, I'm sixty-three.
I tried to keep a steady bass happening, and no single note leads were involved.
I played sitting down, and tried to move the guitar around.
No eye contact was made with the camera, not even showing my face.
And you should feel fortunate that eight hundred pound Bengal tigers aren't roaming your countryside.

I'm probably going to delete this after any comments by you.
If I've got one acoustic guitar video happening, it's got to be better.

Can I give you a little bit of constructive criticism about the recording? I don't know how you recorded it but it sounds like the drums were placed in a different room. You'd get a warmer sound if they were a more equal sound level. The backing track needs a bit more 'reverb' and/or 'echo'. The guitar playing was good, very interesting.
