Upgrade/downgrade

Just wondering seeing as Win 8 is such a load of cr@p, if you have to pay for an upgrade to Windows (or any other commercial software), would you get a refund for downgrading?

Sounds reasonable to me. I will soon have to change my machine. Too old to upgrade and I am sick of the line running down the middle of the screen. I will go up to W 7 but will not want 8. Anyway 9 will be out soon!!!!!!!!!

I've gone up to Win 7, Pro 64 on the new machine and Home premium 64 on one of the old ones upgraded with a bit more RAM and a bigger drive.

Best price I've found for 7 is the link below, scroll down to the discs, (not the licence unless you have a disc from another installation), £45 for 32 bit £50 for 64 bit; Amazon have some "second user" ones cheaper but for new expect to pay around £70+
