Hi all :tiphat:I have been asked to provide the backing music & PA system for a grand pyrotechnics display I would like to use some really fiery classical pieces that would be linked to the fireworks control panel so that the fireworks would keep time to the music any suggestions ? Frederik have you got anything of yours that might fit the bill something really rumbustious? or Torsten can you think of anything ? I have got a month to come up with something:confused:, the more suggestions the better Cheers Sparky

Hi sparky,

Are you looking for something new and different? Other than the standard '1812 overture', or Handel`s 'Fireworks'?

Hi Rojo :tiphat: Firstly let me congratulate you on your new appointment.Well Done. as to your question the answer is yes something different, something to make people think hey! that was good, no, that was superb, that was worth coming to see & hear, perhaps I ask for too much, something that will work on one's imagination. I will listen to any suggestions, the more input the better, perhaps something that will awaken the angels:angel: & the devil  Cheers Sparky

Many Thanks ROJO:tiphat:
Thanks for the link to exiting classical music works there are plenty of ideas for me to play about with there  and a real change from the usual Jarre synthesizers I will let you know what I finally use it has got to last for 35mins so I will probably use the juicy bits from a number of different pieces to show different moods, no matter what it will be fun and involve music that is the important thing :cheers:Cheers Sparky

Well, there are many possibilities...

I would think- something exciting. Have a look here; maybe one of these would do-

No problem, sparky :)

It does sound like a fun project; I think most everyone likes fireworks. Looking forward to know what music you pick, and how everything goes off (pun intended )

An unusual choice, but a personal favorite of mine:

Prometheus Op. 60 (the poem of fire) by Alexander Scriabin.

Hi Brad :tiphat: I will have to look that one up and have a listen By the way like your web site  I must find a way of putting more demo tracks on mine. I must admit even I am getting bored with Nessun Dorma still perhaps one day I will have enough time to give the website my full attention as for now I'm afraid it is work work work. Cheers Sparky

Thanks for the comments on my website. I basically designed everything myself, but I searched for the free mp3 player.

I heard your singing, and enjoyed it. Sounds like a very good sample to me, but I tend to think having shorter samples can be a good strategy. I know after hearing that I'd be interested in hearing more of your singing. I have not written much for voice, but that always change in the future. :)
