I've been thinking about this posting for a while,
and since no-one else is commenting on the four year old video artist,
here's some thoughts, based on oriental experiences of reincarnation.
You know, as in searching for the next Dalai Lama.
And in North America, children who remember past lives,
even being taken to the house or locality they remember.

If there's one musical instrument that makes me think,
that someone was that kind of musician in a past life,
it's piano players, especially Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
If this four year old is just an enthusiastic player on his own,
he's up there too.
But pianos aren't an ancient instrument, and are modern technology,
so why are pianists who are only four and five being born virtuosos?
You don't see drummers doing that, and that goes back as a primal thing.
Or flutes, something humans have been making for over 40,000 years.

Most people are born singing and dancing, losing it by the age of five.
Musicians who take lessons as youths, usually stop playing those instruments.
Older teens and twenty-somethings who take up an instrument,
usually end up playing them as professionals.
These are north american statistics.
How does a, uh, pre-teen virtuoso fit into all of this?
