The cop killings in the US are the lead story down here.

We have had a lot about that here as well. Meanwhile we get a new prime minister today and the labour party are looking to elect a new leader. All change.
There are still lots of idiots who do not understand democracy and want another referendum " until we get it right". Rather like they did in Eire.
Meanwhile the stock markets are surging, the pound is on its way back up and countries are queuing up to sign trade deals with us. Its lovely to see people like Osbourne groveling around telling everyone how well we are doing and making a complete prat of himself.

Is she the one without children or the idiot that said only mothers know how run things?
I know what "Mother" means in the US

And what the media isn't reporting are all the situations when blacks kill their own ... that is at a rate of 12 to 1 compared to whites killing blacks. But the media won't publish those facts ... cretins.

Probably don't want to be called racist Lars, Would not be published over here either. No Muslims have been prosecuted for race or religious bigotry despite the fact that they hate homosexuals and think all Christians will burn in hell. Mind you lots of Christians have been pilloried for their views.

How many Moslems were killed in the Crusades? I am not excusing the I.S. but throwing stones does not help.
Being an atheist I see problems everywhere that man gathers, some philosopher (cant remember who) said if all mankind were identical some form of difference would have be found to divide us.
Long live Peer Gynt.

I agree 100% teddy and the increasing gap between rich and poor must be halted.
I give up with politicians they could not run piss up in a brewery and are a self centred lot, in the end the proles will only stand for so much then look out, grab your bags and head for the hills.

One of the reasons I voted to leave the EU is the fact that we have no say in who is governing us. At least we can kick the buggers out after a few years bwhen they mess up. Which they usually do

Doesn't make much difference these days who you vote for, they all have to do what big business and multi-nationals tell them, as always money talks.

Thats right Mike we know what is going on but are nearly helpless to do anything about it, one thing that gives me a little hope is that the democrats in the US say that the TPP (Trans Pacific Partnership) that Obama wanted is not going to happen.
NZ government was mad keen to say yes and join in but the opposition here is against, it gave all the corporate bodies the automatic legal right to sue a country if the laws of that country hurt their business, e.g. extra tax on Tobacco or anything that was detrimental to their sales etc, so one little win for Alf Average.

When Prime Minister Peter Harper, from the Reform Party of the prairies, was first elected,
it was seen as a protest vote against the politicians of Quebec and Ontario,
who were selling Ontario to Americans, with Quebec acting as a separate nation.

What was the first American act?
Under the original Free Trade agreement, America sued Canada for over $1,000,000,000,
one billion, in cash, called a dispute about lumber.
It took over a year, but Canada had to pay.

George W. Bush built three drone bases overseas. Obombya has already built 124.
Americans who bomb other people live in the States and go to work like a shift work job,
working the electronics.

Things are slowly moving along but still plenty of idiots who want to block Article 50, hold another referendum etc. Why can't people accept a democratic decision. Scotland has gone very quiet about leaving Britain. I think they would get another NO vote if they tried. Meanwhile we are being bombarded with American politics. I think if Trump gets in we will see a different person from the one who is electioneering

If either one of the idiots gets in we will see a different person from the one who is electioneering. The two major political parties are not giving American's much of a choice in their selections. Certainly we need a woman in the white house, but not Hillary ... we already had enough "Clinton" on the white house for this century.

I'm reminded of the satirical "letter" reputedly penned by John Cleese when you elected Bush 2, which starts -

In view of your failure to elect a competent President and thus to govern yourselves, we hereby give notice of the revocation of your independence, effective immediately.

Her Sovereign Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II, will resume monarchical duties over all states, commonwealths and other territories (except Kansas, which she does not fancy), as from Monday next.

It continues at some length, various versions have appeared over the years, most can be found on line. Some bits are not very complementary, but we Brits find them quite amusing,

Even if you run your country in a way we don't like we will invade and nudge you in the right direction.

Speaking about the elected and the grant receiving unelected,
it was quite a crowd in the park across the street one night.
Merritt Park, on King Street, beside the Main Street Bridge.
What locals have called Speeder Park since the 60's.

I saw some serious crimes involving some serious criminals,
because I was sitting on a bench in the dark, by the canal,
just to catch the cool canal breeze,
and spit up mouthfuls of slimey liquid getting over my "Carbide cough",
what could be pneumonia or black lung disease.

The next day, I went to complain to the manager of this building,
saying an underage female meth-head hooker knocked on my door,
after four in the morning, after I got back in.
They invited me back the next day to make my complaint again,
before a silent government witness, saying they have a new camera,
and they could see someone let her in, entering by herself.
That was good for me, coming in on camera by myself.

They were having an investigation already,
and who and what I saw in the park and where they came here,
is what they were trying to find out.

One of the biggest criminals in Welland history threatened me,
coming on to me two days in a row.
The next night, around ten in the evening,
I got a phone call from a police related woman,
saying I should pack like I'm going on a vacation,
bring my guitar, a bathing suit, my bike, whatever I wanted,
driving in a big white van.

They took me to Leamington, over four hours away, near Windsor,
across from Detroit.

Any further explanations or stories about my three days there,
are available upon thread furtherance.
I came back with almost 20 business cards and three personal addresses.
Yes, the blather and the bluster with some blarney on top,
and being the only one who could speak some Gaelic,
went over more than well, a serious Scottish and Irish community up there.
I profited $52 with buy and sell.
This is the only semi-boring story.

One thing made me feel really good, and I heard it on a Sunday.
I always knew that those northern communities passed laws,
saying "Africans and African-Americans" couldn't live there.
When I was told that Leamington once had the same laws,
they explained.
They said that American bounty hunters from across the river,
would come over to kill them, and they couldn't protect them,
sending them on as part of the underground railroad.

General George Washington started a $25 a scalp bounty,
and Fort Detroit had some of their own.
I wish I had a dollar for every potatoe truck I saw,
double and triple trailers too.

I'm a fog watcher, I'm a fog watcher,
watching fog go by, oh my oh my,
I'm a fog watcher, I'm a fog watcher,
here comes some now.

Fortunately, no C.I.A. "fog people" were involved.

The Scottish cry of separation was a very successful attention grab.
Seeing money disappear from a school board account,
tracing it through the European Union to a financial institution on Wall Street,
made world leaders and accountants descend on Scotland for advice.
When Scotland was pre-Scotland, there was no Britain, only Roman Empire.

We are being brainwashed and visually addicted by Americans.

Eyes da buy and stiff the boat to sell the oars to Liza,
she's got the row we all can pull, when we don't need surprizes.
Those frozen hands iced to the oars, nailed over her headboard,
hold her in cold deep sleep, until her warmth makes them creep,
so they finger me for all my lies, aaaah!

The woman who drove me to Leamington was not a police employee.
Two days later, after two in the morning on a Sunday morning,
a sympathetic cab driver said I could go into the dispatchers office,
to warm up, left-over wind from a tornado. She called the police.

The two police who arrived were astonished with what I had to say,
about the Ward family and the ones who became Hell's Angels.
They called a third officer to come over so he could hear himself.
They said they were surprised a Hell's Angel shop opened in Leamington.

Welland Police had to visit me to see what was left in front of my door,
that was used as part of the previous criminal activity.
They sent in a new report.

Essex County O.P.P. now use my Gaelic greeting as a voice identity credential.

All my complaints have included statements about the lack of proprietary sovereignty,
for Ontario and Canada. I'm feeling the love.

City Hall reassured me I can be a mayoral candidate in the next election.

Keep saying yes teddy, I can't get enough of that!
I wish Corno Dolce could be reading this.
