Blast from the past

Browsing Ebay I came across a copy of a 1955 LP I had bought when in Cyprus with the RAF and enjoyed for quite a few years until it went to that big turntable in the sky.

Called Blow Hot Blow Cool, it features Herbie fields sextet on one side and on the other a group calling themselves the Melrose Avenue Conservatory Chamber Music Society, actually Marty Paich and a few others.

It should arrive later this week, I'll have to see if I can remember how to connect the Turntable: it should also be an excuse to copy a few more Vinyl tracks to the hard drive.

Might post a short clip or two if any one's interested. Had a look on You tube and couldn't find any of the tracks there.

My very first LP a 10 inch LP mono, no date on it but I would guess late 50s early 60s, could not get all of it in the scanner, still plays ok and good music.
