Hey there! I'm Heidi and I'm a fairly young musician from Scotland hoping to broaden my musical knowledge and to get some advice. I've played the flugelhorn for seven years but only in the last two or so have I become more passionate and devoted to learning, which I'm glad to say has improved my skills a lot! I really enjoy listening to romantic period music even though my in depth knowledge is limited. And I look forward to learning new things here!! Nice to meet you all. : )

ah.... Scotland, one of the islands of sons and daughters of the Gael,
where the green-green grass of home requires three hundred years of cultivation,
before it's properly responsive as horticulture.
A country where they expect you to look up and see a sky blue flag,
with a big white cross on it, before the heavens.

This offshore overseas lowlander is also here for you.

There was this flugelhornist, this Scottish flugelhornist,
she typed from fa awa, her server had broke in twa,
and now she's sighin', her heart is cryin',
for all the providers her end using used to know.
You could wait a thousand years now.

and... and... even though teddy's a Duckmeister,
I should be more than a Rearadmiralappasionatta,
losing hundreds of messages when a domain rebuild happened here,
a couple of years ago.
Hey, if lots of messages is what does it for you, teddy bare it all the way.
I'm sorry, it's the blues talk coming out of me.
Sometimes I wonder what I'd be like if I didn't see Jimi Hendrix.
You're right, I don't want to know.
I did catch some blues up there, feeling sad I couldn't afford Marshall stacks,
all the effect changes he went through, the Stratocasters, oh yeah...
yeah, you just don't be no average white bland.

Know, the great Genius of this land
Has many a light aerial band,
Who, all beneath his high command
Harmoniously,
As arts or arms they understand,
Their labours ply.

Robert Burns.

Krummhorn, I know what it's like to see your name showing for a long, long time,
seeing two out of three here for you, so I'm changing it a little.
