Frederic! It's nice to see someone else who doesn't need a user name,
but is using your own name.
It's not easy trying to establish your name, as an artist,
if you aren't using your real name.
I was just talking with a friend who lived in Germany for a couple of years,
back in the nineties. He was singing and playing acoustic as a gig.

I could leave an address for my music domain, but I won't.
I try to keep it on this domain, the only music forums I visit.
It's been quiet here lately, so maybe we can keep each other busy.

as always, John Watt

Cool! Yes, I usually use pseudonyms when I'm selling stock music, just as a pseudonym is likewise much easier to memorize opposed to a real name.

I guess Germany isn't the best spot for what I'm doing (film music) - even in the places where they do most TV and film productions in Germany, which should be Collogne and Berlin, it should get pretty hard. Also live orchestra recordings are a rare thing for German movies, as they normally don't have the budget for that. Would love to move over to London, LA or New York when the time comes.

So long,
Frederic

I'm surprised that Germany can be desired to be left behind, for musical reasons.
I'd be the first to toot on being Teutonic, thinking the world needs that strength and precision,
to be leaders once again.
I first got interested in the operas of German composers,
because Jimi Hendrix talked about them as being part of his musical influences.
You can think of him as a black American blues man, his British Invasion role,
but he said he was of Egyptian Nubian descent, with a Cherokee grandmother,
who walked the trail of tears.
Hey! There's a new opera, or pop-opera, waiting there.
