Hey guys

Here in the Niagara Peninsula, close to Niagara Falls, I'm going to be seeing some new New York city.
One of the leads in "Heartland", one of my favorite TV series,
got an invitation to set up a new restaurant like the one she has out there in the Canadian prairies,
someone saying a country theme would be in tune with the times.
She's also newly separated from her husband, and can travel to be on her own.

When I think of music in New York city, what's one of my earliest memories?
Tony Curtis played a saxophonist who came to make it in the Big Apple,
and when he had one of his first auditions, playing with some hot jazzers,
they sent him out for coffees and when he came back they were gone and so was his sax.
The sound of him playing when he was sitting out on a fire escape stays with me.

and... and... uh... have you ever been... have you ever been, to Electric Ladyland?
The magic carpet waits for you and me, as it take us along for a ride on down to the south side,
right over the love-filled sea.

Yes, Krummhorn! Do you have any New York City stops on your organ?
Something that reverberates like a back alley, or sitting on a fire escape between high-rises,
maybe even some background street noises, traffic, sirens or shattering cell phones.

What a shame that you didn't stay, samuel222.

It's been a problem for a while that nobody much has been posting - new members or old.

I am starting to see why.
(Might there be a clue in this thread...?)
