    Pachelbel

I like the organ tracks, 1, 9 & 11 on this Album, particularly No 9 on a Silberman organ (right click track when playing, select "Save audio as" for free download)

Nice find. Pachelbel is up there with Buxtehude and Bach for me.

I did a spot of listening to Pachelbel recently and was amazed by how expressive his music is. It really 'reached' me.

Do you play it? I suppose, yes. How lovely.

    This is lovely!
I always like to stop and listen if it is being played in the shopping mall, especially by students, I drop some money in their open violin cases.

In the video, the younger man wearing sunglasses is my violin teacher - 'Fiddle Guru'.
This was a few years ago, before he got married - he's cut his hair now, much to his wife's chagrin.

I didn't know anything of Pachelbel's except the Canon, but I think his masterpiece is the Hexachordum Apollinis - I just love its thoughtful streamlined melodies.
