Rock Guitar Backing Tracks to study and practice in the summer of 2018

You know what I've been doing as having some backing tracks?
I've got three Boss micro-digital half-rack effect units, one being just echo.
I set the rate and repeats on zero so there is only echo with no flow or beats.
Whatever I start playing, chords or notes, just keeps going on and on and on,
seemingly forever, until I start to play something else, pushing it into the background,
and then I can play again a third time, hearing all three parts, until,
I start playing a forth time, making the first sounds disappear too far into the distance.

You might think this is too constricting, having to stay in key to keep it all together,
but these units are so precise even sharps and flats and micro-tone tremolo arm movements,
are something you can work with as sounds the unit creates itself.
I was lucky to get these proto-type units from a Roland-Boss dealer in another city,
who felt forced to buy them as part of his new dealership package, and yes, they were expensive.
I would never do this onstage, not wanting to have to depend so much on a piece of equipment.
It's funny to hear drums and bass get lost in this fading world of sound.
