You seem to be trying to finish off Magle.dk every time you're posting here.
If it's such a sad and lonely experience for you, if it is just nothing...
If active threads aren't as good as previous threads...

They say it would take more than one life-time for a person to copy every Bach score.
You can say it would take more than one life-time to comprehend the grand scale of Magle.dk.
I always like it when there's an intermission.

Maybe you could put up a video of you playing violin and singing to attract more attention.
I know I would have a look and listen, and reply in kind.

Another interesting article on how to revive internet forums.

As the writer points out, activity is so important, but not just any old activity - people want to sense that there are discussions going on and places where they can join in.

That's why I've tried to start threads on specific topics which interest me and which I hope might interest other people.

Also it's why I try to keep posting - where I can, relevantly & concisely - on threads about music started by other people.

Because other people are the key to the health of this forum.

MIMF is not about me or about any other single poster.

MIMF is about community, and it's also about music.

In real life, when someone apologizes to me I always say don't start doing that,
because once you start you won't be able to stop. It's true, and usually gets a laugh.
Here, I was saying that if you are thinking that anything negative here is my fault,
you can progress with that because I have posted so much you can find more to dislike.

I'm not into likes and not liking. Is there such a thing as being a liker? There are dislikers.
I'm a lover and a fighter. I'm not on Facebook either.

    It's 2019 now - and still moribund.

I'm not sure I entirely agree, since Talk Classical is still fairly healthy. I use Facebook quite a bit, but it doesn't stop me posting on Music Forums.

Is that the start of a crop that's growing in January because of global warming,
that is going to die when it freezes again? That's when farmers lose crops around here.

If I could pose as another member, using a user name, like I tried to do last year,
I probably would try to be artistic and say I see the start of an Albrecht Durer nature study here.
yeah... I got away with four or five postings before Krummhorn asked if it was me.
I tried to adapt a tough Prussian military attitude, tense and terse verse, but like all good things...

I too would like to know where everyone went that was here 4 or 5 years ago ... in fact, I have tried to contact those people without any success.
Interesting, to learn something of the history of the site.

There's a new JHC post here, a reply to me about a baroque bass instrument.
He's an older member from New Zealand who hasn't posted here for over six months.

When these forums went down when the whole domain underwent new construction,
maybe four years ago, a lot of members lost a number of replies. I lost over 1,200. But that's okay.
