If my continuing replies, the only "new member" thread I'm currently posting in,
are making you uncomfortable, you only had to mention it here.
I think it's only fair to leave this thread open,
so any new or old member in the future can comment on the content.
As a global forum, someone might see your name or content,
and contact you about something you really want to be contacted about.
I have a great concern about excess bandwidth and over-consumption of electricity.
This content is going to be here as long as this domain, magle.dk, is active.
Why not keep it open as well?

It's not easy, within the screen of this addictive technology,
to keep yourself separated from your published word or up-loaded videos.
I see you as being a generous person, with your attitudes to music and life,
but I do see your request here as a selfish move.
Not a closed door or a glass ceiling, could this be upper class British snobbery?
Professor Marshall McCluhan described this probable computer psychology in the 60's,
mostly in his book "The Media is the Message", where technology viewing over-rides any truth,
and any sense of self the content provider might want as privacy.
Jus'sayin'.

I have felt that this thread was no longer useful since post no. 6.

34 posts later, I wrote to the Administrator asking if he would close it for me.

I am thinking of what will benefit the whole forum, because this forum won't survive without new members.
Introductory threads show how new members are treated, and new members want to feel that people are listening and responding to what they are actually saying.

I have started a number of threads on musical subjects and am happy to respond to any forum member who posts relevantly and courteously on those threads.

And now for some more early music while I wait for this thread to be allowed to fade.

Please be advised that this is my last posting for this thread,
unless requested.
And to only be open and honest with you, Ella Beck, as I am in my travels and travails through life,
I betcha the admins are sitting back watching our replies and retorts and getting off on it.
You are a very enthusiastic poster, seeing you going through new members who not only faded away,
but disappeared.
In real life, offline if you will, I still have the same attitude as when I was walking off stage.
I could walk up to anybody and start talking and it always led to something good for me.
I know I'm full of myself, but that's only because I have never let anyone else inside me.
And hey... I'm very left-handed. I was born that way. Watt more can I say?

Thank you for respecting my wish that this thread should close now.

I know Krummhorn, the administrator here, from another forum that I belong to, and I do not think that that would be his attitude at all.

I have always found him sympathetic, helpful and professional.

As I have said, I like to read posts that are courteous and relevant to the thread title, and I joined MIMF because I love music.

And music is, really, all that I care to talk about on this once-vibrant forum.

I hope, then, that this is the last post that I shall make on my own introductory thread.

Live long & prosper, everyone.
