That wasn't the photo I thought it was.
Here's the one that looks the way I saw it,
even if my eyes could see more.
Seeing that shadow reaching out like a hand with an arm,
inspired this half-finished painting.
This is supposed to be the Niagara River when it first cut through the escarpment.
I'll be painting more water to break up the obvious hands above and below water,
and creating more detail on the shore. Maybe it's not even half finished.
That last photo might be the mood I'm in, feeling soft with a luminescent light.
I'm just an old word processor who loves doing photos.
