Add a composer game

Dear Ms. RoJo,

You are running dry? Hmmm...

I don't quite get the gist of your suggestion on how to further develop this game - please find it in your heart to share somewhat more about your idea.

Cheers,

Giovanni :tiphat:

Hi gio,

What I mean is that there are too many letters for which I can`t think of any composers. N, E... I`m done. And I`m not alone.

I was looking for some suggestions as to how we can further this game, or how we could go about starting a new one. Any ideas, folks?

We`ve been doing pretty well so far, actually; well over 100 composers listed- congrats, people!

Btw, last composer mentioned- Yoshinao Nakada

Hi Ms. RoJo,

Going back and reading your post on how to further *edify* the game, I think I know what your suggestion entails and I think it a good suggestion to share a tidbit about the composer i.e. his/her life, inspiration, music career or something that may, as you said, further the learning curve. I'm all game for it. Any other suggestions from MIMFers is greatly appreciated.

Cheers,

Giovanni :tiphat:

Dear Giovanni and Rojo ... another twist would be to do this by geographic region ... perhaps starting alphabetical by country and then the composer surnames A-Z once. As an example: America ... and then Belgium, then Canada, Denmark, England, Finland or France, Germany, etc etc.

Wondering also if Admiral Frederik has any restrictions on the number of pages we create on one thread?

Hmm, not sure I could come up with an x, y or z composer for each of the countries. But I do like the geographical idea a lot. Would we be permitted to look things up? Because otherwise, I think the game would be too difficult for me. :bawl::grin:

Hi RoJo,

To look up the composers is the *sticky wicket*. It kind of defeats the learning aspect but when there is no prior knowledge of composer *x*, *y*, or *z* from country *x*, *y*, or *z* you should have a way out. A suggestion: If you can't think of a composer name from a certain country, go back to the beginning of the alphabet and work your way from there.

Anything else on your heart my sweet? ;)

Cheers,

Giovanni :tiphat:

Alrighty then; let`s give it a try- I`ll go start a new thread for the new game; there`s no reason this thread can`t continue as is though.

Last composer posted- Yoshinao Nakada

The new geographic thread will be fun ...

Wondering what has happened to Thomas Dressler - haven't seen him on in awhile ...

Yeah - ain't heard from Brother Thom for awhile - maybe Fleet Admiral Magle might know something about T. Dresslers whereabouts...
