Thank you, thank you, Rojo for taking the 'u' letter ... I was completely stumped on that one

Claude Vivier (1948-1983)

Canadian born, although he died (murdered) at an all too early age of 35 while in Paris.

I could be wrong rob, but isn`t it Healey Willan, without the other 'i'?

I can`t find any Canadian 'x' composer anywhere , so we`ll move along to 'y'-

Gayle Young

Into microtonality...

The next poster gets 'z', and gets to pick the next country, which would start with 'd'. Hmm...

You are correct rojo. In my haste to get this superb composer/organists'
name on the list, I lost my bearings.

You`re welcome to play along, pizza, but if you read the thread, you`ll see that the next post is supposed to be a Canadian composer whose last name starts with 'z'...

Hey Pizza, we are a forgiving group ...

We list composers names, (by last name is listed in alpha A-Z order) within each selected country, which is also in alpha a-z order.

We started with America, went on to Belgium, Canada, and now Denmark. After we finish going A-Z with Denmark, we will move on to a country whose name begins with an E.

Feel free to join in the fun here
