I will go out on a limb here, and say that this is perhaps the best WIP I've heard from you so far. Your sound is becoming more professional, and as a fellow electronic composer, then I know how hard it can be to hit the natural sound with the gear we use. You've hit right on target this time, good job :up:

I take it that you use EWQL, and I could imagine some of the finer percussions from this lib do well in a sublte manner in this piece. Just a thought and a matter of taste of course. It sounds great already. Also, is the piano the Steinway from this lib?

P.S. I have promised a few people from this forum to post some of my latest music, and I would appreciate your comments on this, when I do so soon.

Yes the piano is indeed the Steinway B from EWQL Silver. However, all other instruments are EWQL Gold.
I will try to continue working on this song, maybe tonight (its my birthday today so if i get time i will) otherwise i will continue work on it tomorrow. Im not really sure wether to keep on going with the calm theme or perhaps pick up the pase a bit. Maybe i should just add a different part for more contrast in the overall tune.

I'll listen to your music once you post it, mate :) I'll try to comment aswell.

Nice going ;) with this new thematic venture. I like what you have done with the piano part, a rhythmic driving force, if you will, that makes a wonderful background for the other flowing instrumental parts. A very calming and soothing piece. I'm anxious to hear more as you proceed with this piece.

Ok. Listen.
When you write a violin track, for example, try to not write it with only one instrument. Combine several violins. It just about your track. The violins have very soft attack. So, if you play several notes one by one, you will notice, that there are little gaps between them.
In your case, the violins track should start with soft violin (like you have), and other notes shuold be combined with normal attack violins.

For example, my track of violins can consist of 4 tracks, combining the sound I need. And as the result I have one realistic track of violins.

This track definitely calmed me down quite a bit. Its really beautiful piece of music youve written, like a dream. Makes me feel a bit sad too and thats what makes it good, it gives me a feeling. Ill be looking forward for more of your stuff!

You would make all of the classic composers from Bach to Mozart
proud. I don't think classic music has to be confined to a period.

Sorry I ran out of time! I only had just minutes left to send the messege.
Like I said I believe classical music doesn't have to be confined to a
time period like with Bach, Beethoven, and Mozart. I believe classical
music can be written and performed in this day and time. Take some
of your rock bands like Lennon & McCartney with their different songs
that are classic and some classical. She Love you was really an
introduction to their madness. I myself didn't know just how talented
Paul McCartney was and John Lennon until some of their music was
brought back in the eighties after John Lennon was killed. So what
you just played I consider as classical music.
