What are your impressions so far? Do you have ideas/wishes for any changes or additions?

This forum certainly is 'international' in every form - there are people from all walks of life and many different countries, all participating jointly with another in the interest of promoting music in general. Music is alive and well, thanks to all of your efforts in creating and maintaining this forum.

I wish to join my voice to Lars in expressing my appreciation for your forum. It has the very important characterestic of not being intimidating which, I assure you, is not the case on some other sites.

As you probably know, commercial sites such as amazon.com provide customers with an opportunity to review/assess a recent purchase. Two questions: a. would it be legally compromising to engage in such an activity on this site, and, in the negative; b. would it be advantageous to create a specific place --within "classical music" or for all categories -- where one could review a cd, a book, a dvd, etc.?

Thanks for the kind words and support, Krummhorn and Ouled Nails - I'm truly glad you think so highly of this forum and I promise I will continue to develop and improve it!

Ouled Nails, I see you found it but I agree that it looks a little lonely. I will consider splitting it up in sections each dedicated to a genre, and then place that section as s sub-forum under the genre's main forum in order to give it greater visibility.

Keep the feedback coming, all types of feedback and ideas are welcome! :)

Allow me to join the appreciation choir. This forum is a little silent compared to what I'm used to, but it is well remedied by the culture and friendliness. Thanks Frederik.

The only thing I can think of on the top of my head, is that one could make a forum or a subforum for commercials. I have noticed a few advertizers here lately - trying to sneak in commercials in various threads.

Why not make a subforum where commercials can be moved to if they are "misplaced"? And then of course, continue to uphold the no-spam rule.

Well, if you don't wanna run around and clean up after commercials anyway, then I guess my suggestion is still a go-go. If not, and you just wanna do it the normal way (as you recently did), then it's a no-go, of course.

Hi Art Rock ... Actually, it does ... use the "quote" button on the right, then edit between the bracketed

at the end. It took me a few tries to learn how to do this.

Thanks, Thomas! I aghree things has been a little silent, but it's my impression that activity is starting to pick up again.

A few sections had been filled with a lot of advertising, but I went through literally thousands of members and posts just recently cleaning up things a little. It's of course a neverending process... I have considered your suggestion, but per my experience the advertisers would not start posting the correct place, and it takes the same effort from the staff moving a post as it does deleting one, so for now I think I'll just try to deal with it a little more effiecienly. On the other hand I have relaxed the rules for members promoting music in the Member's Music Announcements forum a little.

One thing I do think will be needed is a dedicated regulator for the Rock Music sections (progressive, general, and metal) to help keep things tidy.
