Yesterday evening we had heavy rain and very strong winds. Today we have sunshine and only a slight breeze, it does feel warmer.

Woohoo ... snow ... That's great, Judy ... unless you have to be out and about in it I guess.

SW Arizona: 9pm, 63°F, a few clouds ... heading for 76°F Tuesday afternoon.

Anyone who wants snow is welcome to what we have here.

It got up to about -9 Celsius today. A bit more white stuff, but only a few cms.

Ooh, CD has a new avatar! But I don't know who it is. Hmm.

Aloha my darling RoJo,

The photo which I use as my new avatar is that of Boris Shtokolov. This gentleman has the ultimate bass voice. I only just recently discovered this great singer's stupendously phenomenal vocal and interpretational prowess. I wish I had known about him earlier - He reposed in 2005 - May his memory be eternal. A sample of his artistry:

Cheerio,

^^ Ah. He's quite a dapper-looking fellow too. :)

Today was a beautiful sunny day, around -11 Celsius. It got quite cold in the evening though.

Sorry freezing people ... it's 27C after a day that peaked in the mid 30s. A half-hearted thunderstorm is not doing a very good job of cooling things down.

Vicki's right - the weather here is hot and humid and I mean 99% humidity. Just disgusting...if I wanted that sort of heat I'd move to Singapore!

Around 31C after another top in the mid thirties. Yucky and not good for sleeping. I suggested to CT64 this morning that we change the names of the first two months of the year to Tired and Cranky.

Aloha Vicki,

*Tired and cranky*, eh? Yeah, I know the feeling. I'll take a shower that starts off warm and then gets colder in rapid succession. That takes away the tiredness and crankiness from me - Just a thought...

Cheerio,

CD :tiphat::tiphat::tiphat:

Ps: Currently clear and 13C w/ 70% RH and NW'erlies @ 10m/sec - NB* Its chilly now.......

Aloha Mike,

Maybe you might consider moving to Australia if you find it too wet and windy in Great Britain.

Humbly,

CD :):):)

No Mike, you don't want to come to Nessun Dorma Land at this time of year!

Top of almost 37C (98.6F) today. Oh @#%$. Just checked and the forecast for tomorrow is 39 (one hundred and bl**dy two). Perhaps I'll spend the day at the cinema or floating around the freezer section of the supermarket. Oh, and it's windy, too.

Thanks for the shower tip, CD, but the effect only lasts long enough to get to sleep for a little while. I may be tempted to be an eco-baddy and buy and air-conditioner. For the pussycats, of course, who are quite lethargic and off their tucker a bit. I am being bad and leaving fans directed at their favourite chairs turned on while I'm at away at work.

Yours, in bags-under-the-eyedness (yes, the heat has #$%^ed my literacy)

Vicki

PS: the good news is that my tomato plants love this horrid weather. Not that I'm a total dag and counting them (well, I am), but there are now 16 tomatoes of varying sizes growing up for my salad bowl.
