Right now it's a cloudy 48 degrees. Where did spring go? I walk to
choir practice and get cold on the way and at the same time daffodils
are popping up.

The Montreal area dropped back into the deep freeze last night. -11C right now with a nasty wind chill. We even had a light dusting of snow yesterday, but thus far March has not given us it's seemingly typical blizzard. (Fingers crossed mode).

Quite chilly here in (well, near) Montreal. -3C (about 26F) and heading down. Tomorrow should be above freezing according to the weatherman. At least the sun has been shining and giving us a feeling of warmth. The local raccoons have been making daily visits so I guess spring must be heading our way.

I've really been enjoying this fine weather we've been having; hope you are too, Rob. Very easy to get around town.

I saw a rabbit yesterday, and my sister saw a skunk.

Tomorrow they forecast sunny and 8 degrees Celsius; woohoo!

Ahhhhhhh.

Another fatastic day coming up. Temp was just below zero (C) when I woke up, but now is heading for a high of +8C. It looks like the April Showers may be starting a little early though. The next two days are supposed to be warm, but wet.

Perhaps the best part Rojo, is we can get rid of those HEAVY coats and BOOTS. Though there is still a short section of very slippery ice between my retreat and the driveway (due to it being in the shade), everywhere else is clear. Love it.

Spring!

Another ice warm day coming up Temps range from just below freezing to +11C in the forecast today.

I saw a robin yesterday. First one this year. There is still snow and ice in some places but it will probably be all gone within the next week. I may be tempting fate but I think we got through the season without a major March storm. (Fingers crossed mode). I think I will further tempt fate by putting the snow shovels and salt away. (Happy grin). Time to put away the heavy winter boots too.

Right now it's 59 degrees and my neck of the woods is under a Tornado
watch. I just witnessed a hail storm. A bad one. I hope this weather
will pass soon. I don't mind it raining. I don't like bad storms. Madisonville
has all ready been in enough!

Today (April 1st - April Fools Day) it is 71°F @ 16,25. Heading for 80°F on Thursday.
Slight breeze today. Sure saving on heating and cooling costs with this weather. Nice

April showers

Overcast, light drizzle at times. High about +6C. About normal for this time of year. One interesting stat - this March now holds the record for the LEAST amount of snow for the month in Montreal. I think they said about 5 or 6 cm at most. There is still some snow and ice in places. The thermometer has dropped just below freezing most nights. That is making for a good maple syrup season. (That stuff is EXPENSIVE)!

Chloe the raccoon is making regular calls for her treats.

I just witnessed a bad thunderstorm and a flood on my way home. We
have been under a tornado watch all day. Some of it had golf ball sized
hail in it. Madisonville just got a flood and some hail.
