Woohoo, Judy ... our forecast calls for only 96°F here, with partial clouds.
Enjoy getting your tan early ... we here are still as white as Casper the friendly ghost .

Ahh, the outdoor steam sauna ... we get that starting in July when our temps equal the humidity and vice versa - our "monsoon season" as they refer to it locally.

We're currently at 81°F and cloudy @ 11:33 pm

It did get up to almost 100 today. It's 90 degrees now. Humidity is
60%. That should feel real good outside. The reason why I'm here
under the air conditioner. They want us to keep in check of the elderly
here because some of these old people here can't afford an air conditioner
and some won't use it because of cost.

Rained most of the day today ... that was not in the forecast at all.
Currently 70°F, cloudy and a steady drizzle ... so nice - I love this weather

For some reason, Kentucky is being hotter than Arizona! I was out in
it today and the humidity is drier that what the forecast is saying.
I felt like I was walking around in Phoenix instead of Madisonville.

I guess you're sending some of it back, Judy ... we're supposed to be at 101°C on Sunday afternoon ...

Funny thing about Lutherans in the desert here ... we're perhaps the only ones who stand around after services drinking hot coffee when the temps are above 100°F

Methodist are not that different. As soon as I went to sunday school
I found a pot of coffee hot and ready when I walked in. Of course they
had the air conditioner on freeze. As I started to go home about five
people asked if they could take me home. Of course I turned them down
and walked home and warmed up. I don't doubt that the temps were
anywhere near 100 with the sun shining hot. By the time I got home
and got to my bedroom I stripped! Sweat was pouring off of me.
It was a beautiful day without me worrying that I would get soaked in
a thunderstorm. Those I can do without. A nice steady rain without
all the dramatics suits me fine.

Well, we cleared 101° today ... BBQ'd on the patio in the late afternoon and ate dinner outside - had to be in the high 90's then.

Back into the furnace for the coming week ... heading towards 106°F by Thursday.

Right now (10:10PM), it's 84°F.

With the total of the heat and humidity the index will reach 105 when the
real temps are in the 90's. Not too far from the real 105.:eek:"sweating
smiley"

Same here, Judy; hot and humid.

It got up to 29 degrees Celsius today, 35 degrees with humidex factor.

Very happy that I installed my air conditioner a couple weeks ago.

We've had a lot of rain for the past few days too. Actually, flood reports are coming from the south and south-western part of the country. Today's the first day there's finally sun up in the sky. 24*C with 73% RH.

Hot, hot, hot ... 105°+ temperatures now with higher levels of humidity as we are officially in "monsoon season" locally. Had a thunderstorm and a heavy downpour of rain last night  ...

Currently, 79° heading for the low 100's with more thunderstorm activity later this afternoon.

106°F today for a high. Heading for 108°F on Saturday, then "cooling off" on Sunday to 105°F. Sorry, for me, there isn't much difference in the feel between 105 and 108 ... it's just plain ol' hot - too #@^&!* hot.

A splendid electrical thunderstorm just moved through our area - no rain, just lots of deadly lightening and booming thunder.
