How's Your Weather?

It's 22 degrees right now.:nut: I wished there was a shaking smiley like
this one. I went to church last sunday looking like a Muslem lady with
a cap, extra thick scarf around my neck covering my face, a Tshirt,
thick sweater, and a heavy coat. I thought I'd freeze before I got
to church. No one offered to take me to church. It's only on days
when it's nice for some reason.

Don't tell everybody, but the SUN is actually shining here, temperature nudging 15C/59F, little if any wind. I'm going to get out and do my weekly grocery shopping before it reverts to miserable wet and windy.

Very windy today. Temp -0.5C or about 31F. 28Cm snow on the ground with another five coming. I suspect it will be a white christmas. Hmmm, I better get out and clear the path to my retreat - after a nice hot coffee.

ATB! Rusty :)

Sunshine here and 37°(F). I won't be wearing shorts today!!

Judy: now remember these colder days when the Summer gets blistering hot. At least in Winter we can add clothing to keep warm ... in Summer we can only (legally) remove so much to keep cool .

Even though the weather has been mostly miserable recently, the garden is still striving to show some colour, hope this brightens up the day for some.

Beautiful pics, Mike ...

Even in winter times there can be beauty in roses. These must be some real hardy types though ... even the stems are still green :)

Probably because I'm only a mile or so from the coast so tend to get somewhat milder temperatures than inland. Most years one or two plants will continue until late January and then start blooming again late April.

Those are beautiful Roses Mike, you have done well.

Here it is 5c, but it was about 7c earlier, with a small amount of sunshine.

Apparently it is possibly going to be a white Christmas.

Brrrrrr!

;) -9C at present (about 15F) and going down to about -11. Wind chill supposed to be around -20 tonight. Gotta find my gloves for sure. One thing I keep in mind at thir time of year - the days will start getting longer in just a couple of weeks. (Very big grin).

ATB!

Somewhat hazy, temp staying at or just below freezing, another five cm of snow in the forecast. No big deal. Central Canada in the deep freeze with temps at or below -45C and wind chill supposed to be -50 or lower. thats a record. I understand why the people in Edmonton are having trouble with the concept of Global Warming. (Brrrrr)!

ATB!

ps. The raccoons are sleeping this off.

Right On, Judy :)

Today it rained most of the day - not really a heavy rain, but steady through most of the day. Cleared late in the afternoon and currently 56°(F) @ 6:45 PM.
