B.....Cold! -20C (about 3 below on the farenheit scale). Wind chill said to be around -29C... Dawning nice and clear - but count your fingers. (Very big grin as my teeth chatter). I'm starting the day off with a nice, VERY hot moca coffee.

So KH, doesn't sound like you have much chance of a white Christmas!!

Yah ... real bummers - although in 1987 it did snow on Christmas eve and we had 6 inches of white powder all around on Christmas Day. It was all gone by the early afternoon :(.

Send some of your warm temps here Krummhorn. It's 24 degrees and sunshine.
judy tooley

Can I send that via Fed Express collect?

It is 0ºC/32ºF today, but we have had some snow as promised. It looks like it might settle for tomorrow.

How's our weather? Well- BOHICA, a hemi Nor'easter has arrived, and the bidding begins at 1 foot of snow today. (It may be two feet in places.) The 4th annual Christmas Party at the "Philly" household has been postponed- a turn of events that's disappointed my wife Hot_townPhilly.:(

Still (as expected for a pretty much party-prepared household), we have (in the words of Donald Fagen's song New Frontier) "provisions- and lots of beer,:smirk:" so we'll be okay as long as the utilities hold up.

Bummers - I was looking forward to that party ...

Great that you have the proper provisions - at least alcohol doesn't freeze !

Hope you aren't dug in to deep there - reading about it makes it sound fairly serious.

Here, partly cloudy and 59°(F) - predicting 71°(F) for the afternoon high on Sunday afternoon.

Still pretty cold here; about -14 Celsius. The snow we got recently will stick around for a while, it seems.

Sorry about your party postponement, Chi; just read about that snowstorm too - sounded pretty harsh. Here's an extra beer for ya.

Bright sun here ........ again, 8.5C/47F, (definitely something wrong) if this continues it should be OK for a stroll on the beach Christmas day after dinner.

A bit further north, away from the coast they have snow.

Here it is 0ºC/32ºF, we had a little sun this morning, but not enough to melt the snow. All round to Mikes then for the better weather.
